Bonnie Ibuki

Bonnie Ibuki is a character who appeared in the 2025 Marvel comic Godzilla vs. Avengers. She is the niece of Goro Ibuki, the inventor of the original Jet Jaguar.

Godzilla vs. Avengers
Refusing to stand idly by as Godzilla and other kaiju continued to wreak havoc across the globe, young Bonnie Ibuki decided to follow in her uncle's footsteps and resolved to rebuild Goro Ibuki's creation, Jet Jaguar, to help make the make the world a safer place.
Together with her friends Ohgene and Sebastian - with whom she formed the Kaiju Chasers United - Bonnie salvaged as much material as she could from junkyards and created a new model of Jet Jaguar using Goro's original design specs. Before having the opportunity to test the machine, the Kaiju Chasers United traveled to Astoria, Oregon, where Godzilla had engaged Fin Fang Foom in battle. By the time they arrived, the New Avengers had also already entered the fray. Bonnie and her friends nevertheless decided to dispatch Jet Jaguar to help as the superheroes attempted to evacuate civilians caught in the mayhem. Though Jet Jaguar initially helped break up the dueling kaiju, the robot became increasingly reckless as the Kaiju Chasers United realized something was wrong with Jet Jaguar's artificial intelligence programming. Despite their efforts to remove Jet Jaguar from the battle, Bonnie could only watch alongside her friends as the situation hopelessly deteriorated, with Godzilla dismantling Jet Jaguar and using parts of the machine to batter Fin Fang Foom into a bridge, causing massive property damage and ultimately destroying Jet Jaguar.
In the aftermath of the chaotic scene, Bonnie and the Kaiju Chasers United were approached by the New Avengers. Captain America chewed out the group for sending an untested giant robot into the field without proper testing, though Iron Man was transfixed by the machine's impressive craftmanship. Shortly thereafter, Bonnie, her friends, and the New Avengers were rounded up and questioned by S.H.I.E.L.D. Deputy Director Maria Hill aboard a Helicarrier as she attempted to piece together the events of the fight. Bonnie and her friends defended their actions and argued over who was to blame for the catastrophe.

- Bonnie Ibuki is one of the first characters introduced in an American comic to be a relative of a character featured in a previous Toho Godzilla film.
