Mira is one of the protagonists in IDW Publishing's 2025 comic series Mothra: Queen of the Monsters.

Personality

After spending fifteen years on her own in the post-apocalyptic landscape, Mira had become jaded and stern in her disposition, focused on survival first and foremost. She initially had a great disdain towards Mothra for having lost against Antra and dooming the world to its current state, and was reluctant to help bring a new Mothra to fix the world until her sister Emi mentioned they could get their parents back in doing so. Eventually, Mira's resentment for Mothra began to thaw after the hatching of Mothra Gemini, impressed at seeing the larva fearlessly facing off against Antra despite the odds.
