Steve Clemente (birth name Steve Clemento Morro) was a Mexican American film actor. He acted from 1917 to 1943, during the silent and early sound film eras, and played mostly villains. Clemente was a friend of Merian C. Cooper and Ernest Schoedsack,[1] and in 1933 he played a Skull Islander in King Kong and Son of Kong. His character in the first film is called a witch doctor, but is listed as Witch King in the credits.
