Bruce Cabot was an American actor who appeared in films from 1931 to 1971 and is best known for his role as Jack Driscoll in the 1933 King Kong. Cabot joined the crew in the fall of 1932 and had much less experience than his colleagues. During filming, he learned a lot from Frank Reicher, who played Captain Englehorn in the same film, and remembered this collaboration with gratitude.[1] He died on May 3, 1972, as a result of lung and throat cancer at the age of 68.
