— Chibi Titano introducing himself (Chibi Godzilla Raids Again episode 26, "Don't Underestimate Monster Hooligans") |
Chibi Titano (ちびチタノ is a juvenile Chibi Chitano)kaiju who appears in the second season of the 2023 animated television series Chibi Godzilla Raids Again. Despite his brash exterior and yankī-like demeanor, he is actually a good-natured resident of Monster Island who is always encouraging and offering advice to others.
Name
Chibi Titano's name is a combination of chibi (ちび), a Japanese word meaning "little," and "Titano" (チタノ, a shortening of " Chitano)Titanosaurus."
Design
Chibi Titano mostly resembles a "chibi-fied" version of his namesake, with skin being an red color, orange fins, a humanoid body shape, antennae on his head, a long neck and three white toe claws on each of his feet. He does, however, bear a few differences in appearance from Titanosaurus: he lacks an underbelly, has less detailed and smoother skin, more muscular arms, differently-colored eyes and a shorter snout.
Personality
Chibi Titano is a self-proclaimed hooligan and often makes intimidating declarations, though in actuality is quite friendly and supportive. Chibi Titano is especially concerned with the health of the other chibi monsters, commenting that everyone spends too much time on their phones, that Chibi Godzilla should move his body more and be positive rather than feel disappointment, that he wants others to join him on his runs, and advises Chibi Rodan to go home if he is feeling unwell.

"Don't Underestimate Monster Hooligans"
Chibi Rodan boasted of a tale about how he defeated a monster hooligan to Chibi Godzilla and Chibi Mechagodzilla, both of whom were completely unimpressed and bored by this. Just as Chibi Mechagodzilla pointed out that there were no hooligans on Monster Island, Chibi Titano suddenly appeared, crouching in the middle of the road. Chibi Titano aggressively introduced himself as the number one and only monster hooligan on the island, with Chibi Mechagodzilla pointing out that being the only one would naturally make you number one. Chibi Godzilla reassured Chibi Mechagodzilla that they had Chibi Rodan on their side to protect them, though Chibi Rodan immediately dropped to the ground and submitted to Chibi Titano, admitting in the process that he lied about his story. Chibi Titano threateningly told the lot to watch where they were going, which Chibi Mechagodzilla identified as a classic hooligan phrase. However, after Chibi Godzilla took the question literally and answered "stright", Chibi Titano simply answered "nice" in response, shocking Chibi Mechagodzilla. Chibi Titano explained that he was curious if they knew where they were headed because usually everyone is too distracted by their phones in the modern day and as a result don't walk properly. Now realizing there was merely a misunderstanding, Chibi Rodan began to boast once again and flew up into the air, only to quickly submit again when Chibi Titano aggressively told Chibi Rodan should take more care when he was flying, though this too was genuine advice. Chibi Godzilla expressed disappointment in Chibi Titano's behavior and said it was a "shame" that they didn't get to meet an actual hooligan. Chibi Titano appeared to be enraged but pointed out that he simply wished for Chibi Godzilla to become more positive and turn his "shame" into energy. On that note, he set off on a run, encouraging the others to join him but returned soon after to advise Chibi Rodan to rest if he was feeling unwell, misunderstanding Chibi Rodan boasting behind his back.
"Madam Bio's New Menu"
Chibi Godzilla and Chibi Minilla just finished helping Chibi Biollante select a new item for her snack bar's menu when Chibi Titano burst inside. His volume annoyed Chibi Biollante, but she quickly grew to tolerate it once he earnestly exclaimed that he'd been looking for a place like this. Chibi Biollante offered him one of her new items - a soy powdered biscuit snack - which he took a bite out of before starting to shake and shout. Though Chibi Minilla assumed he didn't like it, Chibi Titano yelled that it was delicious and resumed eating. Chibi Godzilla was happy that they had a new menu item, but Chibi Biollante told him it wouldn't be easy before offering to tell him and Chibi Minilla what she valued from her customers more than their money. As the duo tried to guess, Chibi Titano began violently shaking and pleaded for water, and Chibi Biollante revealed that she valued her customers' dehydrated expressions, confusing Chibi Minilla.
"Monster Motorcycle Gang"
Chibi Godzilla attempted to teach Chibi Minilla how to ride a bike, though when she began to question his knowledge and experience he dodged the question by saying all she needs is determination. Chibi Minilla didn't believe him, but Chibi Titano suddenly pulled up on his motorcycle and agreed with Chibi Godzilla's sentiment. Chibi Rodan followed close behind, claiming to be Chibi Titano's disciple and berating Chibi Minilla for being surprised about his motorcycle. Chibi Godzilla asked Chibi Titano about Chibi Rodan, but Chibi Titano denied Chibi Rodan's claim and said he'd been following him all day and being annoying, shocking Chibi Rodan so much that he fell to the ground. Chibi Titano said he respected Chibi Minilla's choice to learn how to ride a bike, which he referred to as a "chopper," before offering her a place on his "bike team". Chibi Minilla was shocked, while Chibi Rodan objected to her joining and begged to join instead. However, Chibi Titano flatly turned him down, offending Chibi Rodan so hard he froze in mid-air and failed to finish his "RO-DOWN" exclamation. Chibi Rodan then accepted Chibi Titano's decree before asking to join if he worked hard, which Chibi Titano again declined, causing Chibi Rodan to finish his "RO-DOWN" and plummet to the earth. Chibi Godzilla asked Chibi Minilla if Chibi Titano could teach her how to ride instead, but Chibi Titano said no before adding that actions speak louder than words. He instructed the others to "watch and learn" before throwing himself off his motorcycle onto the ground. Chibi Rodan praised the way Chibi Titano face-planted, while Chibi Minilla lamented that nobody on Monster Island knew how to ride a bike; Chibi Titano encouraged her to keep trying anyways, saying that running from pain only makes it worse and that life gets easier once you face your problems. After standing back up, Chibi Titano stated that he and Chibi Minilla could be homies since neither of them knew how to ride a bike. Chibi Minilla accepted his suggestion, while Chibi Rodan pleaded to be friends with Chibi Titano even while admitting he made himself his disciple "purely for my own selfish reasons." Chibi Titano begrudgingly let Chibi Rodan join and invited him and Chibi Rodan to leave with him before flopping to the ground again. Chibi Minilla merely asked Chibi Titano if they could start with learning to pedal.
"Coming-of-Monster Ceremony"
During his speech to Chibi Godzilla, Chibi Ghidorah, and Chibi Rodan for their coming-of-monster ceremony, Chibi Hedorah mentioned that humans had similar ceremonies where hooligans would sometimes jump on the stage and steal the microphone. Suddenly, Chibi Titano appeared and did exactly that, angering Chibi Hedorah but relieving the others, who grew bored with Chibi Hedorah's speech. Chibi Titano gave a lively speech, stating that Monster Island was in the hands of the chibi monsters now and that they needed to "stick it to the man." Chibi Titano then touched on responsibility, asking if it's really as scary as it seems and stating that big monsters have big responsibilities, which requires big risks, which ultimately makes them stronger. Chibi Godzilla and Chibi Rodan praised Chibi Titano's speech as he dropped the mic and left the stage, leaving an irritated Chibi Hedorah to finish his speech.
"Welcome to the Death Game"
Chibi Titano was among the monsters kidnapped by Chibi Gigan for his death game. Some time before Chibi Godzilla woke up, Chibi Titano scoured the room he, Chibi Rodan, Chibi Minilla, and Chibi Godzilla were in for any exits, but came back to the former two empty-handed as they briefed Chibi Godzilla. A TV turned on, revealing a laughing Chibi Gigan who welcomed them to his death game. Chibi Titano quickly objected to his participation, while an enthusiastic Chibi Rodan labelled him the "uncooperative type who rebels against the host," though he was soon disappointed once Chibi Titano began rallying his friends to combine their strengths and escape. Chibi Gigan said he was digging their "guts," as in determination, and explained the rules of his first game, "Old Maid Lies". Chibi Godzilla quickly won Chibi Gigan's first game by burning the cards used to play it, and Chibi Gigan moved on to his second game, team rock-paper-scissors, which Chibi Titano and Chibi Godzilla immediately pointed out wouldn't work since there were only four of them and Chibi Gigan said to split into teams of three. Chibi Gigan began to announce his final game, stating that only one of them would survive, though the game required cards, which Chibi Gigan didn't have any spares of. Chibi Gigan gave all four of the chibi monsters a pass before letting them all go home, including Chibi Titano.
"Chibi Anguirus' True Feelings"
Chibi Rodan indirectly mentioned Chibi Titano in a social media post as a "hooligan" that Chibi Rodan saw call a "shop girl" cute and ask if she wanted to hang out with him, but was annoyed off by Chibi Rodan when he asked to play with him instead.
