For what it's worth, a lot of the character/monster pages on this site don't fully summarize novelizations and other film adaptations, instead highlighting the ways in which they differ from the source material. It's not official policy, but I think it's more helpful to the reader than a bevy of slightly different synopses, and easier on us besides.

And... why did you write this to me? I don't write slightly different synopses. Where do you think I wrote this?
The pages for Mike (Universal) and Carnahan, for instance. Apologies for the late response, I'm still catching up on things post-G-Fest.
There are noticeable differences. Mike dies differently in the adaptations, or doesn't die at all. Carnahan's death in the novelization is described more gory (''Piranhadon'' is still eating him as it approaches Jack), which is also an important difference. An example of what you're talking about is Weston. He have the same actions and dialogue in all 2005 adaptations, so I won't write about him in such detail.
Right, what I'm saying is that you can zero in on those differences and gloss over the parts that are the same as the film. The Behemoth page offers an example of this.
Well, I think I removed everything that was too similar to the film🤔 On my other pages I've written almost nothing about adaptations.
I've noticed you taking an interest in our Kong pages lately, and I just wanted to say hello. It's always nice to get a new editor, especially in our neglected Kong sector. That said, a lot of the pages you'll come across are very old and pretty lacking, so sorry you have ended up picking up my mess lol. If you ever have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out. Have fun out there!
Thank you for the kind greeting! I plan to write a lot here about both Godzilla and Kong. I can't promise it will be soon, but I've been into kaiju for over 15 years, so it's just a matter of inspiration.
