Okay, I know this may be potentially controversial, but I want to vouch for User:Daimajin1966 (who I know on the Toho Kingdom forums as "mikelcho"). He got banned here on Wikizilla by Les for spelling Funimation as "FUNimation" (which is technically a valid stylization), and I want to try to get him unbanned, if possible.

Extremely reductionist summary there. The ban log reads, "Long history of obtuse and unhelpful editing, and repeated disregard for staff warnings." We were more than generous in issuing mostly warnings for the several years he was here, but after a certain point we needed to put our foot down. The Funimation thing was just one of many instances of him deciding arbitrarily, and without so much as seeking a second opinion, to change every instance of a particular term on the site. We finally gave him an ultimatum that if he did it again, we were banning him permanently; you can see how that turned out. And this isn't to mention his constant warring with us over pedantic grammatical matters. I must respectfully decline.
Hey @Les, I know this may be a controversial question, but was Daimajin1966 actually banned from this site? It seems the website actually said that he was blocked for an indefinite period. Thanks in advance.
They're called "blocks" in MediaWiki, but it's the equivalent of a ban, yes. He can still view pages but he can't edit or comment on them.
