Where is Manda called "Manta" in Singular Point?--Astounding Beyond Belief (talk) 13:16, 21 October 2021 (UTC)

In episode 8 when the Otaki group finds the Manda corpse washed up on the beach Goro Otaki calls it Manta--Zillaman98 (talk) 18:03, 21 October 2021 (UTC)

That just seems like a typo. Granted, we include alternate English spellings of kaiju names in Japanese publications, but this is a bit different.--Astounding Beyond Belief (talk) 18:55, 21 October 2021 (UTC)

Its not a typo its apart of the actual dialogue it gets followed up with another character correcting Goro even the Dub says it..--Zillaman98 (talk) 18:59, 21 October 2021 (UTC)

Ah, all good then. Completely forgot that exchange.--Astounding Beyond Belief (talk) 19:03, 21 October 2021 (UTC)

Godzilla: Monster of Monsters! Manda?

Similar question to the mushrooms in GI but was it ever confirmed that the fire dragons in GMoM! are actually Manda? I couldn't find any information on them (or any other non-boss enemy) in the instruction booklet and the 1990 issue of Player's Strategy Guide to NES Games simply refers to one generically as a "dragon". -Titanozilla2023 (talk) 12:55, 7 April 2025 (UTC)

No confirmation that I'm aware of, but the same could be said for most of the game's basic enemies/assists (the manual simply calls the Moonlight SY-3 a spaceship, for instance). Its face is a dead ringer for the original Manda, so the intent is clear enough for me.--Astounding Beyond Belief (talk) 22:01, 11 June 2025 (UTC)
The Japanese manual actually does name the Moonlight, along with Black Shark, the Beta (from The Mysterians), Natarl UFO, Mysterian UFO, Xilien UFO, Super X, Missile Tank (from Mothra?), Atomic Heat Ray Gun, and Markalite FAHP. Unfortunately it doesn't list any living enemies besides bosses. Is there still a precedent beyond those? --Les (main | talk) 22:45, 11 June 2025 (UTC)
What about Dogora or the Matango?--Astounding Beyond Belief (talk) 23:30, 11 June 2025 (UTC)
