A spaceship piloted by the M Space Hunter Nebula Aliens appears in the 1997 television series Godzilla Island. Another ship controlled by the alien race appears in the 2022 IDW Publishing comic Godzilla Rivals: Vs. Gigan.
Unlike all other Toho aliens featured in a Godzilla film, the M Space Hunter Nebula Aliens never utilized their own UFO onscreen in film; as such, their vessels appear exclusively in non-film media, each sporting a radically different design.
Name
The UFOs are never identified in either of their appearances; the name used for this article follows the naming convention applied to every other alien vessel featured in a Godzilla film.
Design
In Godzilla Island, the Nebulan craft sports a rectangular design adorned with various minor features, or greebles, to add detail.
Concept art for Godzilla Rivals: Vs. Gigan by Christian Gonzalez reveals that the Nebulans' technology is modified from existing technology scavenged from other alien races. As a result, the bulk of the ship bears a striking resemblance to an Xilien UFO, with Gigan's own hooked appendages or "Bloody Triggers" attached to the sides.
History
- Godzilla Island (TV 1997-1998) [episode 31]
Godzilla Island
An M Space Hunter Nebula Alien approached the Xilien Zagreth aboard her ship, the Vabaruda, where it offered to lend her the monster Gigan. After Zagreth asked what was in it for the Nebulan, the insectoid alien instructed her to look at a monitor, where she saw the Nebulan's vessel floating in space nearby. The Nebulan explained that ten billion members of his race were confined to the ship and requested her help to save them. Though disgusted by the mere thought of ten billion cockroaches, Zagreth nevertheless agreed to the Nebulan's terms under the condition that Gigan beat Godzilla.
Following Gigan's failed duel with Godzilla, Zagreth squashed the Nebulan, leaving the fate and whereabouts of the ship's inhabitants unknown.
Capabilities
Flight
In both of its appearances, the Nebulan vessel was capable of flight, including interstellar travel in Godzilla Island. In Godzilla Rivals: Vs. Gigan, the vessel was capable of being flown remotely, as proven when teenager Nancy was able to hack into the ship and control it from her laptop.
Space Titanium plating
Concept art for its appearance in Godzilla Rivals: Vs. Gigan reveals that the vessel is coated in Space Titanium.
Grappling hooks
Godzilla Rivals: Vs. Gigan concept art features grappling hooks on the underside of the ship for the purpose of gathering space debris. This feature was not utilized in the comic itself, however.
Other features
In Godzilla Island, the ship was large enough to house ten billion M Space Hunter Nebula Aliens.

Godzilla Rivals: Vs. Gigan
In 2008, the Nebulans sent Gigan to attack Seattle, Washington, though the cyborg monster was quickly intercepted by Godzilla. Watching the battle remotely in New Jersey, teenagers Joaquin and Nancy recognized Gigan's moves from video games, prompting the latter to hack into Hexapod Games' servers in an attempt to learn more and discovered that the gaming company was a front for the Nebulans. Nancy subsequently discovered a way to cut Gigan off from its data feed, allowing Godzilla to defeat the cyborg. As the Nebulan leader mulled over his next move, Nancy hacked into the propulsion systems of the Nebulan spacecraft hidden beneath Hexapod's headquarters where the Nebulans had been monitoring Gigan's battle. Piloting their ship remotely, Nancy steered the craft in front of Godzilla, who promptly cleaved it in half using Gigan's saw, killing all the Nebulans within.
