Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack

After an earthquake on Mount Myoko caused a massive landslide, two D-03 Missiles were fired into the rubble by a Taiho missile launcher in an effort to facilitate the search for survivors. The Taiho then entered the tunnels created by the missile, where the crew found a single survivor. They then caught a glimpse of Baragon digging his way through the hillside, being responsible for the earlier tremors.

Much later, the D-03 Missile was used once more in an attempt to drill into Godzilla's body, having been fired from multiple Taiho and the cruisers Aizu and Ako. The missiles failed to break through Godzilla's thick hide, and Godzilla destroyed the Taiho and Ako in response.

During the final battle in Tokyo Bay, two Satsuma submersibles launched from Aizu armed with one D-03 Missile each. The first missile, fired by Commander Yutaka Hirose, accidentally hit King Ghidorah instead. After Godzilla destroyed King Ghidorah, the guardian beast's energy merged with that of Mothra and Baragon and acted to slow the nuclear behemoth down, causing him to sink beneath the waves. Brigadier General Taizo Tachibana piloted his Satsuma towards Godzilla, and Godzilla ate the craft without a second thought. As Taizo began to lose hope, a vision of his daughter Yuri gave him the will to continue, and he fired the missile into a wound in Godzilla's shoulder, where it drilled through the skin and exploded. Godzilla tried to fire his atomic breath several times at Yuri and Mitsuaki Takeda, only for the ray to shoot out of his shoulder instead of his mouth. In agony, he sank into the bay. As the Satsuma escaped through the hole created by the missile, Godzilla tried to blast the submarine with his atomic breath. This time, the pressure in Godzilla's body rose to the point that he violently exploded, reducing his body to just his beating heart.
