Paraceratherium in The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms?

I was a bit curious about the long-necked quadrupedal animal being declared a Paraceratherium, since it does not look much like one. It has been a while since Insaw the film, so did they refer to it in dialogue or are there sources to suggest it was? JohnGojira (talk) 16:03, 24 July 2025 (UTC)

I rewatched this fragment. It turned out that the two skulls I wrote about were not lying on the floor, but on the table near the professor. These are clearly the skulls of some ungulates, but not as large as a Paraceratherium, and probably not even rhinoceroses. I still think that the skeleton's skull (undoubtedly fake) is based on the skull of an ungulate, but I can't say which one exactly. The characters in the movie don't say anything about this skeleton, so you're probably right, it should be considered an unidentified quadrupedal animal. Anguirus95 (talk) 19:07, 24 July 2025 (UTC)
