The Fest Godzilla series is a series of live action short films produced for the annual Godzilla Fest event starting 2020, with the most recent having been released in 2024. All five films were directed by Kazuhiro Nakagawa and the last four were planned and supervised by the Godzilla Strategic Conference. The first entry is a stand-alone short film featuring Godzilla as a fictional character portrayed by suitmation on a film set whereas the last four are set in the same continuity and each feature Godzilla, as a real creature in-universe, battling another monster.
Films
While it is considered to be the first entry in the series, Godzilla Appears at Godzilla Fest does not share continuity with the other entries in the series and features a man in a Godzilla suit rather than Godzilla himself. All the entries from Godzilla vs. Hedorah onwards have been made to celebrate the anniversaries of particular Godzilla monsters: Hedorah's 50th, Gigan's 50th, Jet Jaguar's 50th and King Ghidorah's 60th.
